Website for an organization is a sort of introduction but the real introduction is to visit the institution physically or virtually and observe its functioning, aims and objectives in real sense as seeing is believing. Then only a person is motivated and contributes to the real cause of an organization. Anyone is prone to injury (trauma), the injury may be mild or grievous. The grievous trauma does not need only medicine but organized therapies and motions in a systematic manner. The Voluntary Medicare society is mainly concerned with upliftment of human miseries and for that everyone's contribution is needed. Humble request is to contribute for the welfare of the people in the field of disability. Be a part of this noble mission.

Voluntary Medicare Society
Established in the year 1970 as a medico-social voluntary organization dedicated to the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of potential beneficiaries and to the upliftment of society.

SHAFAQAT REHABILITATION CENTRE.
Shafaqat Rehabilitation Center (SRC) at Voluntary Medicare Society is a specialty medical rehabilitation center providing comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation services.
Physiotherapy
The physiotherapy lounge at SRC is fully equipped with all the state-of-the-art equipment to provide the therapies
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists train patients in Activities of daily living ( ADL ) by relearning a variety of daily activities like eating, dressing and personal hygiene
Assistive Technology
Assistive technology devices like mobility aids are provided after proper assessment and taking community into consideration for purposeful usage.
Developmental therapy
We aim at the holistic development of the infant or young child in communication, thinking, and motor skills through the use of intervention techniques like neuro-development treatment, etc.

“in the year 1995 the VMS founded a special school for rehabilitation of children challenged with metal, orthpaedic, speech and hearing problems it coincided with signing of United nations declaration of the Rights of the disabled persons 1995. It started functioning from the year 2000. Currently there are 57 special students enrolled in this school.

Currently there are 30 students enrolled in Shafaqat Inclusive school. Those children who have borderline IQ or mild mental retardation are enrolled for Inclusive Education, for taking formal education along with special needs depending upon individuals’ requirements. Kidney Care Center
A Nephrology unit was established in Feb 2022 for the people with various kidney ailments. The unit runs under the guidance of DR. Aadil Beigh, interventional Nephrologist.
VMS Polyclinic
VMS Polyclinic is easily accessible, located on NH1 . It is equipped with modern infrastructure and attended by qualified doctors.
Parental Counselling
The parent counselling is aimed to involve them to look after their children with disabilities to understand the issues that trouble them.
