Digital Literacy Program for Visually Impaired persons Inaugurated at Voluntary Medicare Society on 17th May 2023 in collaboration with EnAble India Bangalore. The aim of this Program is to inherit digital literacy among persons with visual impairment under the theme of #See_a_million .....

Digital literacy for individuals with visual impairment (VI) has the potential to empower them and to provide them with increased opportunities to access information equivalent to their sighted peers. It includes educating and training persons with complete blindness and visual impairment in operating computers , smart phones for accessibility and education.

THE TRAINING INCLUDES:
-> Fundamentals of Office productivity.
-> Office correspondence with Word Processor
-> Data Management using Spread-sheet.
-> Presenting ideas using PowerPoint slides.
-> Project related to Social Integration
-> Project of Work Reality
-> Working with web applications (browsing, searching, email etc).
-> Exposure and Experience on various Assistive aids, solutions and work environment persons with low vision.
