Providing artificial Limb to student in Kupwara

 Parvaiz Ahmad s/o Ghulam Ahmad Hajam R/O Nowgam Mower Kupwara case of Knee Disarticulation Amputee was widely highlighted in leading dailies and Social media platforms for immediate intervention as the condition of the patient is pitiable and belongs to poor and downtrodden family. Voluntary Medicare Society ( VMS) immediately intervened and directed the professionals stationed at sub unit Kupwara to make necessary assessment. On 2nd June 2022 the beneficiary was referred to Prosthetic & Orthotic Unit of VMS Srinagar , provided all the necessary transport and other facilities managed by VMS,where his cast/ measurement was taken for the prosthesis.
