Story of Feroz Ganayi: a 9th class student

Feroz Ahmad Ganie was a 9th class student hailing from Tangmarg area of North Kashmir's Baramullah district. He went out with lunch for his uncle who was working at a nearby stream 3 kms away. He boarded a TATA public passenger vehicle, which was already overcrowded , so he remained suspended from the back of the vehicle. A tree lying on the bund just shook by the movement of the vehicle and fell on the vehicle, smashing his neck. The hit resulted in injury to his higher level of spine : cervical. His mandibular bones fractured and he lost two of his teeth. Blood started oozing out of his mouth. Movement and sensitivity of his limbs ceased instantly. From SKIMS JVC he was refferred to Shafaqat Rehabiliation centre on 12/12/2018. His physio protocol was set, stretching exercises, limb strengtheneing exercises , ball exercises followed. He regained his sensation and was able to walk again 4 months after his admission in SRC, a dept. of VMS.
