Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) and JK Hope & Health Foundation
(JKHHF) have come together to setup a 50 bedded hospital (VMSSH) in Srinagar to bridge the gap in accessibility to referral healthcare services of national and international standards in critical care, cardiac science and neuro-spine service lines. The hospital would be equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and clinical facilities to provide best in class treatment to the local community.
Voluntary Medicare Society is more than 50-year-old society doing commendable job by providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities under one roof irrespective of caste, colour, creed, and religion. Besides VMS is running a special and inclusive school within the campus for special children and providing community-based rehabilitation services in Baramulla. Kupwara, Ganderbal. Leh and Kargil districts. It is located adjacent to SKIMS medical college on the national highway bye-pass Srinagar having land area over 46 kanals.
JK Hope & Health Foundation is a Not-for-Profit Organization founded in 2019 by doctors and conscientious citizens. A humanitarian organization with members placed globally with primary focus on healthcare in underserved areas. Its work is guided by principles of humanity, neutrality. and impartiality. The foundation has done some major contributions to community during Covid-19 pandemic by providing tele-health & oxygen support services and currently running a very successful “Kids Heart Surgery Program” saving the children with heart diseases.
