Sheeri Baramullah
Camp

VMS organized a Multidisciplinary Medical Cum Rehabilitation camp for Children with disabilities at PHC Sheeri Baramulla yesterday. More that 70 Children were examined and free medicine was distributed among them. Experts from SRC and SSC and also from Sheeri PHC participated in the camp. Pertinent to mention that VMS has been catering the needs of special children of Baramulla District through its Sub Center established in 2019.

Beerwah Budgam Camp

A Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation camp was held on 27-09-2019 at Beerwah Budgam by Voluntary Medicare Society. More than 100 patients were registered and treated for necessary intervention

Rohama Baramullah
Camp

VMS Today on 20th August conducted a Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Camp at SDH Rohama district Baramulla. 66 children with special needs were assessed during the camp. 5 BTE hearing aids, mobility aids and needful medicine was provided to the beneficiaries. Some cases were also referred for the measurements of orthotic and adaptive devices. VMS is thankful to BMO and other staff of SDH Rohama for their cooperation in conducting the camp successfully.

Maidanpora Kupwara
Camp

Kupwara, 17 August: Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) today organized a free Medical cum rehabilitation camp at Aayush Health and wellness center Maidanpora Kupwara. During the camp more than 75 children with disabilities under the age of 18 years were assessed for physiotherapy, P&O assistance and rehabilitation services by rehabilitation professional’s of VMS. 6 children were provided on the spot casting for orthotic aids. The needy beneficiaries were also given free medicines, Hearing aids, Corner and CP chairs, walking aids etc. Special cases were referred to main center, VMS. Special Children assessed at the camp were advised to visit sub-unit Kupwara for continued rehabilitation services. Technical and field staff of VMS facilitated the event for its success. VMS is highly thankful District Aayush officer Kupwara Dr Nisar and other staff members for facilitating this event.

Delina Baramulla
camp

30 Oct: Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) today organized a free Medical cum rehabilitation camp at PHC Delina Baramulla. During the camp more than 40 children with disabilities under the age of 18 years were given free medical checkups, physiotherapy, P&O assistance and rehabilitation services by Doctors and rehabilitation Professional’s of VMS. Keeping in view the COVID situation special care was taken to follow all the SOPs. 9 children were provided on spot casting for orthotic aids. Free medicines and hearing aids were distributed among the beneficiaries during the Medical camp. Dr Waseem, Medical Officer, Mr. Muzafar Ahmad, Special trainer from ZEO office Sopore, hailed the initiative of the organization and ensured of support to VMS for such future endeavors. Dr Farzana, general practitioner delivered her professional services during the camp. Special Children assessed at the camp were advised to visit sub-unit Amargarh Baramulla for continued process of rehabilitation. Technical and field staff of VMS facilitated the event for its success.

Zachaldara Kupwara
Camp

Kupwara, 31 August: Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) organized a free Medical cum rehabilitation camp at Community Health Center, Zachaldara, Kupwara. During the camp more than 55 children with disabilities under the age of 18 years were assessed for physiotherapy, P&O assistance and rehabilitation services by rehabilitation professional’s of VMS. 8 children were provided on the spot casting for orthotic aids. Besides free medicines, hearing aids, Corner and CP chairs were provided among the needy. Some cases were referred to main center VMS . Special Children assessed at the camp were advised to visit sub-unit Handwara for continued process of rehabilitation.
