World Spinal Cord Injury Day
Voluntary Medicare Society observed World Spinal Cord Injury Day at VMS. Four activities were carried out to raise awareness for prevention of spinal injury.
1. An offline speech by experts on spinal injury prevention and post care.
2. Wheelchair racing in the premises of VMS.
3. Food mela camp: food prepared by Spinal injury patients of Shafaqat Rehab Centre like cheese burgers, beverages , shakes .
4. Short success story by Dr. Inshah Bashir and Mr. Monis Wahid.
