Today, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir, Prof. Nilofar Khan, inaugurated the Ten-Day Workshop on “Skill Development Programme for Persons with Disabilities: Challenges, Opportunities & Strategies,” organised by Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) in collaboration with Enable India.

The programme aims to strengthen leadership capacities of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), address institutional barriers, and explore new pathways for employment and entrepreneurship. Participants from across J&K UT engaged in meaningful discussions and deliberations throughout the workshop.

During her visit to the VMS campus, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the impactful services and inclusive initiatives being provided by VMS and assured full support of Kashmir University for the upliftment of PwDs.
