Inauguration of Wheelchair Basketball court
The Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS) proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art synthetic tiled wheelchair basketball court today. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the Sports Council J&K, who attended as the chief guest alongside other esteemed dignitaries and Management of Voluntary Medicare Society.
This significant addition to the VMS facilities marks a substantial step forward in promoting adaptive sports and providing enhanced training environments for athletes with disabilities.
In her address, Ms. Nuzhat Gul commended the efforts of VMS in fostering inclusivity and accessibility in sports. She highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering individuals with disabilities and providing them with opportunities to excel in sports.
