Hearing Aid Distribution Camp , GMC Bla
On January 28, 2025, the Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), in collaboration with J&K Bank and GMC Baramulla, organized a medical camp for individuals with speech and hearing impairments at Government Medical College (GMC), Baramulla.
The camp, aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility for the speech and hearing-impaired population in the region, assessed 50 patients and distributed 40 hearing aids to beneficiaries.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Majid Jehangir (Principal, GMC Baramulla), Dr. Parvaiz Masoodi (Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla), Dr.Bashir Lone (Director, VMS), Dr. Zafarullah Beigh (Assistant Professor, ENT, GMC Baramulla), Dr. Umeek Jeelnai (ENT Specialist), Mr. Rayees Ahmad (DEIC, GMC Baramulla), Ms Sakeena and Mr. Touqeer Majeed (VMS Sub Centre, Baramulla), the Zonal Head of J&K Bank and staff of VMS.
