A team from the Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), in collaboration with the Special Olympics Bharat, Kashmir Chapter, participated in the Futsal National Championship held at Faridabad, Delhi, from 6th to 11th January 2026.

The team played a total of seven matches, out of which they won five. Based on their overall performance, the team secured 3rd position in Group (M04).

Murtaza, an athlete from Shaqafat Special School, won the Gold Medal in the Junior category.
